Conducted annual monitoring and habitat assessments for a 14-acre scrub-jay preserve. Every year, we produce FLUCCS habitat maps and full environmental assessments to meet monitoring requirements outlined in the site’s Development of Regional Impact order.
Assisted Charlotte County Parks and Recreation with a Protected Species Assessment and Environmental Resource Permitting, focusing on mangrove preservation.
Conducted a 100% Gopher Tortoise Survey to identify presence of the protected species. We worked with the county to apply for a permit and successfully relocated the tortoises to a sanctuary / recipient site
Provided environmental assessments and permitting support for shoreline stabilization repairs after damage caused by Hurricane Ian in 2022.
Completed on-site and off-site Florida scrub-jay monitoring over 21-acre and 17-acre parcels annually. Developed a FLUCCS habitat map and comprehensive report for USFWS Incidental Take Permit compliance.
